The purpose of this message today is to inform you of an important change to Expert Global Solutions’ executive leadership team. Effective June 25, Ron Rittenmeyer will retire as EGS Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer and Bob Segert will become President and CEO.
This is a planned change and has been expected for some time. Earlier in the year, Ron informed the EGS Board of Directors of his intent to retire following his 67th birthday in May. In providing us months of notice, we were able to perform an extensive search to identify Ron’s successor.
As such, we are pleased and excited to welcome Bob to EGS as your new President and CEO. Bob joins EGS with over 20 years of experience in the IT services industry. In his most recent role, Bob was President and CEO of GXS, Inc., where he was active in repositioning the business to accelerate growth and drive operational improvements that enabled the company to extend its leadership position in the B2B integration services and solutions market. Prior to GXS, Bob spent more than 10 years with EDS in various roles including Chief Marketing Officer, General Manager of US Financial Services, Vice President Global Financial Products, Managing Director Corporate Strategy and Planning, and Managing Director Corporate Development. Prior to EDS, he worked as a consultant for A.T. Kearney and as a packaging engineer for Frito-Lay.
Bob currently serves on the Board of Directors of EPAM Systems, where he is Chairman of the Nominating & Governance Committee as well as a member of their Audit and Compensation Committees. Bob earned a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelors of Science in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.
Bob and his wife Lisa, along with their twin children, will be relocating to the Dallas area in the next several months.

Since Ron joined the company in 2011, we have seen tremendous change, including the merger between APAC and NCO, our enhanced focus on compliance and the addition of a number of new and exciting clients. Always straightforward and direct, we have all benefited from Ron’s leadership, expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction.
While this is a significant change for our business, we are committed to a smooth and orderly transition, with little to no impact on our stakeholders. We have great confidence in the people across the company to continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients and their customers. We know we can count on you. The Board is proud of the company’s progress and we look forward to your continued success.
