As we are all aware, after the tragic bushfires that commenced on 7th February both Victoria and New South Wales have been working through our country’s worst Natural Disaster. Over the past few months, we have been very conscious of the impact of the bushfires in Victoria and New South Wales and flooding in Queensland. On Monday 9th February we had advised you that under our Hardship Policy we decided to stop all correspondence being sent or phone calls being made to the areas that have been severely affected. We also included Queensland flood affected areas.

As of the 1st May 2009, we advise we will commence collection contact within the affected postcodes. However we will be reminding all ARL staff about the Hardship Policy and will continue to be mindful of the impact on debtors.
