1,600 plus people attended the ACA International Convention and Expo in Chicago last month. With delegates representing nineteen countries, and representatives of the four regions included in the International unit present. It was pleasing to note that the board of ACA International approved the establishment of a new region in the International unit for Africa. The other four regions being Australia, New Zealand and Oceania, Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
The 68th Annual Convention and Expo, branded “Leading the League” offered delegates a wide range of opportunities to review supplier offerings from 120 different companies/organisations in the Expo hall; to attend workshops, lectures and training sessions; and to establish or reestablish networks and business relationships.
International attendees were made up of:
56 individuals from 39 agency member companies
6 individuals from 3 vendor member companies
1 individual Creditor member
1 individual Retired member
13 individuals from 12 non-member companies/organizations
ARL’s Managing Director, Paul Cooney has been elected as a Director of ACA International, as a member of the International Unit representing Australia, New Zealand and Oceania.
